MAKEUP TRANSFER: HOW TO MAKE YOUR LOOK LAST ALL DAY

What was once only a winter concern when wearing a scarf or roll-neck jumper, we now have to consider makeup transfer and whether our look can withstand the friction of a face covering. What can most definitely be filed under 2020 problems, face masks are likely to be around for a while yet.

As we inch toward warmer days and shorter nights, we’ll be leaving the house more often and focusing on how to make your makeup look last all day.

While we all know it’s crucial to build your makeup in layers, the below tips will give your makeup super–staying power while calling on our NEW Hydra Setting Spray to seal everything in.

ALWAYS PRIME YOUR SKIN

CALL ON CREAM & POWDER BLUSHERS

Everyone knows our Colour Veil blusher has major lasting power, but if you’re looking to really make the most of your flush, layer your cream and gel products with powder. Simply apply your gel/cream blusher as usual, then top with a powder version in the same colour. This will set the blusher and make sure it lasts all day.

APPLY LIP LINER AS A BASE

One of our pro team’s favourite lipstick hacks, using our Colouring Lip Pencils in a shade similar to your preferred lipstick makes your lip look unbudgeable. To master this magic, colour in your lips using a lip pencil, then apply your preferred shade of lipstick on top.

LAYER EYELINER WITH EYESHADOW IN A SIMILAR COLOUR

Whether you use a pencil eyeliner or prefer our gel variety, you can make sure your look stays in place by setting with eyeshadow. Once you’ve drawn on your signature wing, simply trace the line with an eyeshadow of the same colour to set your eyeliner in place.

SPRITZ WITH SETTING SPRAY
