Day 2 of London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2021 and we have the latest from Mark Fast fresh off the runway. Our first show of the season and Mark Fast took the catwalk by storm, with his signature neon shades paired with wearable urban silhouettes and denim.
While waiting for the online live stream to start; The carefully selected upbeat music supported the location, the clothes and the makeup. Making you feel like you had been transported into the past, it had Mark Fast all over it.
Pablo Rodriguez, Director of Artistry led a team of restricted artists backstage creating a ‘Summer Clubbing’ look. Inspired by the eighties with a bold wash of colour paired with an elongated wing and luminous skin.
Pablo used the Movement Artistry Palette for the eyes, mixing between the shades Understanding and Non-conformist depending on the model’s skin tones. Half had a glimmering violet wash and half has a warm copper shimmer. Pablo then took the Elphaba shade from Elemental Artistry Palette to create a bold wing on top of the coloured bases, elongating the wing with Captivate False Lashes applied in the corner of the eyes. Topping up with S.O.P.H.I.E. Colouring Pencil to fill in the gaps.
For the skin, Pablo kept it very minimal using Beyond Foundation to create a flawless glow. Controlling the shine on the T Zone with Loose Powder. Completing the look with Sheer Veil Lipstick in shades Maple for the fair skin toned girls and Funberry for the darker tones. Adding a slight shine and tint for a natural pout.
