i like it so far
4I bought this foundation for the days when i need more coverage as this foundation defiantly gives a full coverage finish. The shade 120 is perfect for my mac nc15 skin tone, i would say this has a more yellow undertone then pink though which worked out better for me as i do have yellow undertones. The only downside to this foundation is it clings to dry areas around my nose, and the foundation tends to fall off around there within a few hours, while it stays on perfect all day on the rest of my face. overall though its not a bad foundation and i would recommend it to anyone who wants a fuller coverage

4the reason a lot of people don't like this foundation is because they put on as much as they would put on of a normal foundation that is not how you get this foundation to look nice for day-to-day wear. I literally put on a quarter of the amount from when I was using MAC foundations just because a) it's plenty to cover my face and b) because anymore would make me look like a clown, plus it will feel gross. Plus it isn't water resistant so if you put loads on it will come off on ANYTHING and everything. If you apply just a small amount, with a good primer and a well-moistureised face, this stuff is wonderful, a great cruelty-free alternative to other high-end foundation brands. Super versatile, can loosen it with moisturiser for day to day wear but also can apply a bit more (A LITTLE BIT) to make it good for a night out or full face, the colour range is great, plus it doesn't settle into my pores like the skin base one does (or any very thin foundation). My only qualm is that it doesn't last hugely long, at least not as long as my MAC one, so I always use a good lasting concealer underneath for my problem areas so they stay covered throughout the day.

"115 For very light skin with neutral undertones" TRUE!!
5I find it pretty much impossible to find a shade that is pale enough for my skin as it is but on top of that I have neutral skin, and despite what every online "skin tone test" seems to say, I do not look perfect in both cool and warm foundations. It's always too yellow or too pink on me. Jaundice or burnt skin look? I want neither! Any foundation that is truly neutral, or close to it is still always too dark. RF115 is the holy grail. It matches me 100% in lightness and in tone. Love how buildable it is and how long it lasts. And the teeniest dots go such a long way! Remember exfoliation. And moisturizer is helpful with this foundation, to have it more natural looking.

Holy Grail of Foundation
4I was recommended this Foundation by my cousins (who are a lot darker skinned than myself), so I was concerned it wouldn't work so well on light skin. But, next pay day I thought I would take a chance & add it to my basket! And I am extremely pleased I did! Although, I do feel it works better with a primer/finishing powder (as do most foundations), it has a fabulous coverage & you only need a small amount so that £30 really is worth it! Considering I use it on a daily basis, it lasts me 5/6 months! I use shade 133 & it is perfect for me red undertones & medium-fair skin! As with every other Illamasqua Product, once you try you'll never go back! One suggestion - try Samples to make sure you can get the right shade for you!

Wow! Just Wow!
5I received a sample of this foundation in the post and have used it over the weekend and used it on my mother. Yesterday, after I took Sunday's makeup off, my mother turned to me and noticed how good the skin looked and felt after I wiped it off. My mother is now currently wearing it and she say's she feels comfortable with it on her skin and the shade (115) has hidden her red marks and pigmentation. This is definitely going to be a future purchase as it works for more than one person in the household. But I may need to mix it up a bit with a darker shade of drugstore foundation as I cannot afford two! Lol!

Dissapointed
2I bought it off the website after trying it on at a local store where a makeup artist applied it on my face, i loved it that time and it lasted forever, my oily skin didn't become oily and it didn't feel heavy in any way.. but after purchasing it I just can't make it work, the only thing I am happy with is the color, the foundation sinks into the pores ighliting them, any dry patches are accentuated and it simply looks terrible on daylight, I will need to find a better daily foundation and use this for night out where the light won't show the bad finish.. still didn't manage to find the right foundation :(

life saver
5absolutely adore this product, it actually matches my skin tone and actually covers my skin so any imperfections are hidden, the coverage is perfect and what i've been looking for ^..^ i love it, and i found half a pea size is enough, i currently use it with the matt primer and various other face powders (i like to have matt looking skin) ..i can even say, yes it lasted through bloodstock festival 2014, it didn't fade at least until after 15 hours with occasional powder reaplication
