High street brands just as good
3I bought this in the sale for £7.50 but i never use it much as I don't really get a full coverage with this foundation and I don't want to apply too much and end up cakey. I have tried and tested high street brands which cost same/similar to the sale price which I purchased it and honestly they are better quality. However, I'm going to use this foundation more and see how it turns out, I may be wrong. I would recommend it but I wouldn't buy it at the full price - not worth it.

Perfect
5I love this foundation so much. I have very pale skin and use shade 02, it matches perfectly. I can't use more common brands as they're way to dark and I walk around with a yuck make up line all day. Defiantly needs to be used with a primer and is better when its set with powder and finishing vale. It is also amazing coverage as i have freckles and like a flawless look. I would recommend this to anyone but you need to moisturise daily as it sticks to any dry spots on your face. Given its consistency a bottle has lasted me 6 months with nearly everyday use and a good primer. Favourite product on the market. Nothing but praise for the Skin base foundation <3

4This is one of the best foundations I have tried, I have been advised to take shade SB09 because I am an NC30 in mac but somehow the shade is kind of dark on me? however looks amazing on the skin as I look slightly tanned. I love the packaging, it's very compact and travel-friendly but it is very hard to use as you have to squeeze and as you get to the end of it, it seems impossible. I wish you can change this into a pump or an easier way to use this great foundation because I need to press so hard for the product to come out!

5I'm not usually one to spend an arm and a leg on makeup but after buying this I can see why people do! The colour I was matched to at the counter in Debenhams is PERFECT too, don't know how I survived without it.

Hmmm
3I first came in contact with this foundation when I had a photoshoot and they used shade 06 on me, I loved the look of it so asked what it was and bought some of my own. The first week of using this I loved it and I got a lot of people saying I looked beautiful but then i took it with me on holiday and it seemed to melt and it didn't go back to normal and no longer has a nice effect on my skin, it was such a shame because I loved it :(

Great product but would love even more if there was a neutral shade
4I bought this product because of course Illamasqua is my favourite brand and this shade initially looked like it would be the perfect colour. Like everyone else I have tried most brands and found the lightest shades being either too pink or too yellow. Although I do think this is a little on the pink side, and have to mix it with another foundation to cancel out the redness, I would still re-buy as it makes my skin look so healthy and glowy and i always get complimemted. Coverage is great and long lasting, with a little bit going a long way. Perhaps a jar would be better so you don't miss out on the last bit of product due to it being a squeeze bottle (or you could just cut off the end like my grandma does!) I would also say this would suit any age as my mum and I both use it (ages 44 and 22) and looks the same on both skin textures. Would highly recommend

Too light for my skin
5I got colour matched to number 2 and when it's on, it's still too light for my skin but I have to say that it has great coverage over the face and it covers all areas and stays in place all day....really happy with the coverage, just need it to be a darker shade

Shame it doesn't last
3This is the first time I have used Illamasqua so I was quite excited.I was colour matched at my local beauty counter and was amazed at the perfect match! Since then I have applied it in every different way possible,primer,no primer,moisturiser,no moisturiser,different powders etc etc but within 2 hours it had gone and I am left with a few patches of foundation. Need to work on this illamasqua!!!!

A Seriously Incredible Foundation
4I have oily skin, which is a mix of pink/yellow, but more leaning towards yellow. I previously had the shade 8, but I found it drained my skin tone, so went one shade up. I've found that it has great staying power, but I do have to use a setting powder over the top otherwise I look quite shiny, and I do have to blot towards the end of the day. It has excellent coverage of spots, redness and general skin flaws, and evens out skin tone impeccably. A lovely foundation, but purchase a blot powder with it if you have oily skin.
