Unwearable pilly mess
1TL;DR: Patchy, dries up quickly and pills more than any product I've ever seen. Will not buy again. I don't know what's going on with this formulation, but I cannot get this to blend onto the skin. It pills everywhere when you try to blend it onto your skin. I am not a person who is not makeup savvy, yes, I looked into the bases, I tried silicon based products, oil based, water based. It is pilling on everything regardless of what I use under it. I pilled on all types of primers, even the hydraveil. It pilled on top of moiturizers of all formulations. It pilled on skin that was freshly cleansed with water only. I was concinced that there was something in my routin that it was reacting negatively with, I removed everything. If it pills on bare skin, it's the product itself, though it pills far worse with other products. So how in the world could you possibly use this as a highlighting shade if it forms into little rubbery balls whenever it starts to dry on skin. It was as if I was rubbing elmer's glue on my face. It feels similar to when you try to blend "Olay's I am so dissapointed with this foundation. I loved Illamasqua's blushes so much. I am so pale, and wanted to use this to lighten up my everyday foundations as most are still not light enough. You can't do this with this foundation. Furthest I got while speed blending with this product before it could even start to dry, it was uneven and patchy. I don't This product is extremely expensive, yet it doesn't work. Not applied with fingers, damp sponges, or my flat top foundation brush. I don't know what went on here Illamasqua, your products are usually so good.

Finally, the right shade.
5I am extremely pale and have looked for years for the correct shade for my skin, I chanced upon this foundation when out with a friend and it's amazing, it's finally pale enough, it covers well, it's soft and light feeling. This foundation does what it says, looks like skin with no blemishes. Amazing.

Best foundation i have ever used!
5I am extremely pale, every foundation i have usd prior to this one has always had a yellow undertone that didn't match my skin tone. I now have the perfect match, i dont even need to blend this down my neck as it matches perfectly. If yo are worried about this not matching your skin tone but you have transluscent skin, i would say take the risk. This is the only foundation I will be buying ever again

5I bought this foundation as a women working on urban decay recommended it, it's the best foundation I have ever used! Build able coverage, doesn't look cakey and makes skin look absolutely perfect, really happy with this product!!!

INCREDIBLE
5I love this foundation! It's so easy to use and never looks cakey no matter how much I build it up. It is my staple and I love the squeezy tube as it gives the exact amount of product that you want and a little goes a long way with this one! Love it!

awful
1The colour I got was white which was not the problem, the foundation was, it went on my skin and unlike most foundations it wouldn't blend in, looked like a mask, the lines under my eyes were caked and my whole face was one big dry patch!!!!! I had to wash it off start again (with a diff foundation) not good, I would have said it felt like some old nasty foundation from decades ago, there is no excuse for this waste of money.

Breakout disaster
2I've been looking for a pale enough foundation for years now. I bought the 02 shade of this for that reason. And it is the first foundation I have ever bought that is almost too pale. Plus, it doesn't turn orange after a couple hours like many. So, props for color. But as far as the foundation itself, I hated it! It felt slimy on my skin, didn't stay in place, didn't have great coverage, and worst of all, broke my skin out. At 27, I've never had a foundation cause a bad breakout before, but the impact on my skin was almost immediate. So I spent $50 and made a trip to the post office for a bottle I won't even use.

Magic in a bottle?
5So I've been using this Foundation for 2 years now and I've never since found anything that compliments my skin with such excellence. My undertones are both yellow and pink, and for a woman of colour it's an actual pain to find the perfect matching shade- in the summer and winter! Then I wondered across illamasqua and the game changed. Durability is 5/5; it's incredibly long lasting and it doesn't separate for all my oily girls. It's lightweight and very easily blendable. Omg, I just love it!
