Horrible product!
1This foundation is by far the WORST I have ever used! Despite the fact I have oily skin it manages to gives me dry patches everywhere, it emphasises every blemish I have and is not blendable AT ALL. It basically looks like I have just rubbed cake all over my face and rubs off so easily, after a few hours I look like an absolute idiot with half my foundation left on my face - despite setting it with powder before leaving the house. I've been using the foundation for about a month now and tried so many ways of applying this - using various brushes, mixing it with moisturiser and other foundations to try and make it more blendable and less dry - although this leads to a lot less coverage and still doesn't seem to help the problem at all. The colour I chose was 115 which was an almost perfect match after applying powder, bronzer, etc. But when photos are taken with the foundation on it leaves me looking like a ghost for some reason :( Very, very disappointed as I've been waiting to try this foundation for months and feel this is a complete waste of money, will not be buying any other Illamasqua products again.

Slips of
2I was very excited to try this one. Finaly a shade that would fit me. And it did PERFECTLY. The applictaion was difficult but not to troublesome. Hovever it last way to short. after 2 - 3 hours it starts running. I mean really running. the foundation collect in little pools on my pores, and I end up all spotted. if I touch my face, all the foundtion on that spot sticks to my finger. It even doesn't help to powder it down. I only end up looking fugly. Had to stop using it as all my clothes got ruined. Bummed out, beacuse it was a perfect match :/

Persevere.
5Like many people, I had read some of the negative reviews on this foundation, mostly concerning the difficulty of application and how it is unsuitable for people with dry skin. I didn't think that this would apply to me, as I am a teenager with oily acne prone skin. When I used this the first day I thoroughly moisturised my skin with Simple and tried applying it with a stippling brush. It looked awful, and I tried blending for about 10 minutes before my face turned into a flaky patchy red mess, I felt as though I was just moving the product around on my skin. I was really disappointed and upset, because this is such a perfect shade for me. So I searched online on how to apply it, someone told me I should use a sponge to lightly apply it, I did this and the same thing happened as the first day. However I had a theory that it was my moisturiser that was the problem, so I bought a different one, and tried it the next day. I was right, with my previous moisturiser, the foundation was just not compatible with it for some reason, it separated with the product. I finally got it to work really well and I am extremely extremely pleased with my purchase. Don't give up on this foundation if at first it doesn't go on as well as you imagined. It really does work well when you get it right, the pigmentation and the staying power is also really amazing.

5base rich. que tono o color es el mas claro con pigmentacion rosa? tengo la piel muy blanca. y todas las bases claras me quedan en la cara muy amarillas. queria saber : cual es la base mas clara pero que no me quede con pigmentacion amarilla. no soy pelirroja . soy rubia, y con cara muy blanca pero los 01, o 010, me quedan amarillos. el 115 queda roda? o es amarillo? muchas gracias .from bs as argentina

Almost Perfect
4I really like the texture and the way this quickly dries, great if you are in a hurry. Knocked a star off because product description for the colour is way off, it is a red undertone and nowhere near neutral. So this makes my skin look orangey! had to wash it off and go bare faced. Illamasqua is headed in the right direction for women of colour but still needs more work on darker shade choices if they want to be ahead of other brands.

Amazing !!! Best foundation i have tried!
5As a makeup artist i have tried many brands, rich liquid has came out #1 for me . Amazing coverage with lasting effect . I have combination skin , (oily and sensitive) and this product works well against it ! I live in a hot climate for half of the year and this is the ONLY foundation that didnt slide of my face after a full day in the heat ! Also, one bottle lasted me from december last year until august !! Very little is needed , and when its buffed onto the skin a little goes a long way !

Amazing
5Firstly, this foundation is amazing! I find that it not only gives amazing coverage but it also lasts for ages! Although it is a little pricier than main high street brands it lasts 3 times as long as only a tiny amount needed and the quality is soo much higher. Would reccomend to anyone, new favorite brand!

Great Foundation!!!
5I have been using this foundation for a year, excellent for special occasions and it last longer too. It made my skin look flawless in photo's.Before applying the foundation skin need to be prep well for flawless look.

Great colour, cakey appearance
3I bought this foundation in shade 115. It is the only foundation I have found that matches my skin tone perfectly, which I was very pleased with. The main downside to this product is how cakey it is, it's quite powdery when set and it settles in pores making them more obvious. I apply moisturiser before application and have tried many methods of application, only to be left with the same cakey result.

amazing foundation
5I use Rich Liquid foundation in shade 115. Finally a brand that makes foundation that is light enough for my skintone. I only had trouble applying this once (the first time) because I was used to sheer foundations, which this is not. The outcome was fantastic when I learned the proper way to apply. This foundation is very thick and highly pigmented (most full coverage foundation I have ever seen) and a little goes a long way (1oz will last me no less than 8 months). I have oily skin, but I ensure to moisturise thoroughly prior to application. For application I stipple a pea sized amount that has been mixed in to a moisturiser or the Illamasqua primer (sheer or matt) over my entire face and blend and use a finishing powder. I have no need for concealer when using this foundation. The wear time is also the longest out of any other brand I have used and even better, t does not break me out (I have extremely sensitive, pale skin). I have read a lot of reviews stating that people are having trouble applying this foundation. I highly recommend stippling (or dotting across entire face with a small brush) and blending with your fingers. It's the perfect way to apply it and it allows you to build where needed. I cannot recommend this foundation enough! Last but not least, it does not oxidise. No orange faces from Illamasqua!
