Beautiful, but not unique
4Very pretty purple. One coat is very sheer, two coats is opaque, I don't think a black base is necessary but I'll try it sometime. I was expecting this to have more glitter, it's more like a shimmer of pink and gold. It does have a lot of depth to it though. Application is great, but I don't think this shade is very unique and I wouldn't buy again at full price.

5Love this polish. My favourite of the 20 Illamasqua polishes I own and got on sale. I keep moving my fingers and admiring how beautiful the duochrome is. Bought this on the Black Friday sale, I almost wish I got a second bottle... please make this shade permanent, Illamasqua, I'd totally buy this full price which is unheard of for me.

5Love this! Gorgeous colour (my OH is getting sick of my constant 'ooh, look how great it looks in this light' comments) and very long-lasting - it lasted a week with only one teeny chip, which barely showed. Looked a bit sheer after one application, but a second gave good coverage - I used two different base colours (light green and dark blue) to see if it made a difference to the end result, and they're indistinguishable (although the effect of a single coat over dark blue was also very cool). After 10 days I'm about to take off the old polish and reapply, which is unheard of for me!

one of my favourite go-to polishes
5Good coverage and lovely colour. The neutral-ish but interesting shade works with a variety of outfits (it needs to because it's so durable!) and is also an effective base for glittery top coats if you want to switch it up.
