Perfection
5The powders are simply wonderful, seal the makeup throughout the day (I don’t need to touch up) leaving a silky layer nothing heavy on the skin.  I love that they control the brill so much, it leaves the skin dull allowing my skin to shine only where I want to apply the highligther.  With a small amount I have a covered and perfect face and that doesn’t add color to me is a plus since it allows me to accentuate my contour.  I’ll definitely repeat with them.

Terrible! *Read the ingredients before you buy!*
1I've not bought this, though a MUA trained by Illamasqua and using solely Illamasqua products did my make up for an event. As well as skin base foundation & tiny amount of hydravveil, she used this setting powder, all was going fine until she used it, it made the foundation feel cakey and within maybe 10 mins my skin started to itch, BADLY! Got her to check the ingredients and the main one is TALC - which is a cheap filler - also fragrance! Really, reeeaaalllyyy bad for sensitive skin and a guarantee for causing angry break outs... Bad form considering this is meant to be a luxury brand! Ended up having to redo my make up but using a loose mineral setting powder by #BarefacedBeauty to set it (luckily I had my own kit with me too) and everything was fine after that, no cakeyness, skin could breath and no itching. Would not recommend this setting powder, would never recommend any cosmetic that contains talc or fragrance! Big no no!

Superb powder
5Having just ordered my third pot of this excellent powder, it was about time to sing its praises with a review. This is truly translucent - it doesn't react negatively with other make up products, go cakey. or go a funny colour on the skin - it just sets make up without a trace and mattifies beautifully (but at the same time doesn't remove all life from the skin; at 45 I've no desire to look like an airbrushed mannequin!). I have an olive, oily, mediterranean skin type and this suits me perfectly. A little goes a long, long way! At first I was using Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes but there really isn't a need to use both - this Illamasqua powder is so fine and did the same thing. When I was getting near the end of the first pot, I tried a cheaper translucent powder as a comparison but this is one of those rare times when I feel it is worth the extra cost for the quality and result. I'll not stop using this powder for as long as it is available!

BEST POWDER OUT THERE!!
5I have just purchased my second loose powder and that is because it's the best I've tried. I have oily skin and enlarged pore along my t-zone and this powder not only controls my oils, but also makes my pores disappear!! It gives them a blurring effect which no other powder I've tried has done. I've had Laura Mercier and Kat Von D in the past which I thought were good, until I started using this and it blew my mind. Just buy it. Go on...

Best powder ever!!
5Absolutely love this powder!! I have super oily, uneven skin, this powder absorbs oil and my skin looks flawless! I use a dusting under my foundation and then over the top to set it. It seems to brighten my skin and doesn’t look at all cakey! Worth every penny xx
