Not sure
2It is very drying and really does not suit me. Iv tried to wear it using different looks but just looks tacky. I'm an nc37-40 and it is not a good shade for my colour

Dry, but worth it
4Yes, Disciple has a dry texture, but with a bit of prep beforehand it looks beautiful. Unique and good quality lipstick shades can be hard to find elsewhere. I'm a little sad it's been discontinued, but I'm glad I bought it before. Please do another blue lipstick!

LOVE
5I really like dark lips and interesting colours. I have very pale skin (SB02) and Kontrol looks much darker on me than the models on the website, but I don't mind that at all. I wish all Illamasqua lipsticks were this kind of texture. It's still matte and long wearing, but doesn't drag or crumble like some of the other shades.

Pristine
5If you're used to Illamasqua's lipsticks, the formula won't be a problem for you, but with such a harsh colour you are going to have to be a little familiar with it. It's dry but not drying and very matte. It feels hard to work with at first but once warmed up it gets creamier. Pristine is blackest black. Like, it doesn't get any blacker and there is zero problem with opacity here. Coverage is even and staying power is great. I'd recommend a lip brush for this strong shade and layering with Repulse lipgloss for even more depth.

Apocalips
4I don't know how it's possible but Illamasqua have managed to make a blue lipstick that is totally wearable. Apocalips is a very blue teal and sits in the very small blue section of the colour spectrum that looks good on lips. It doesn't look garish or clownish and the colour is totally opaque, workable and long lasting. I'm going to take away a star in my review because when I went for coffee wearing it, the colour transferred to the mug badly, making me look like I'd applied blue lip liner and nothing else. Other than that, gorgeous.

Kontrol
5Kontrol is a very different colour to anything I've owned before. Purples have gotten popular lately and a lot of brands have been churning them out, but they always seem to lean red-based, or just on the purple side of fuschia. Kontrol isn't like that at all. It's a real indigo purple and looks sexy as hell - think smokey eyes, but in a lipstick. The formula is creamy and long lasting with very little transfer and it's easy to work with a brush if a gradient is desired. Really love this lipstick.

Disciple
5Absolutely love Disciple. It looks like black with a little more depth indoors, but outdoors or when captured on flash, it turns into the most wonderfully rich navy. It doesn't get more pigmented than this. A really unique lipstick.
