Eurydice, Scandal & Corrupt !
5My 3 fave lipsticks! Love them. Eurydice is a perfect hot pink, Scandal is perfect flirtatious coral & Corrupt is a bright yet classy pink! PS Please never discontinue them!

Fable
1Gorgeous colour, but so thick/dry and difficult to apply. Even with a lip brush. Shows up every little crack and dry patch on my lips! Too thick to wear for longer than half an hour, feels cakey once it's been on a while. Such a shame! Haven't tried any other colours but after this one, and for £16.50 a pop, I'm not sure I want to.

True red for dark skin
5I love love love love LOVE this lipstick! Sangers is that extremely rare pure red, like no pinkish or orangey undertones just pure beautiful red. It's verrry bold and attention grabbing so it's perfect for dramatic looks. Texture-wise it's slightly less matte/dry than other Illa colours so it's less necessary to moisturise your lips before applying.

5I got this colour half-price so I thought I'd give it a go and I'm so glad I did! I'm a Mac NW45 and Howl look amazing on me, kinda vintage-y red but faded enough that I can just about get away with wearing it as an everyday look. Very matte and pigmented like all Illa products!

Perfect vintage red.
5Excellent vintage red shade of red! Not dark, not bright. Just right! Long lasting. Doesn't make my lips dry out. Love it! You also need Box and Maneater in your collection!

Not what I expected
1The shade of color on the lip was completely different than what it looks like. In real life, it's lighter, purple toned,shear, and patchy. Did not wear well on me in an hour it was piecey on my lips, and drying. My lips were pretty dried out at the end of the day. I would not recommend this color. I am in love with Box, Maneater, and Climax.

Probably the best black lipstick out there
4I figured that the most important thing in a black lipstick is that it is opaque so not grey or streaky, and also matte so it doesn't run or smudge. Accordingly, the Illamasqua formula should do the trick, and it does. The only drawback is that it doesn't have the staying power of Salacious - Pristine does wear off quite easily, or perhaps it just shows more when it does because it doesn't blend with the natural lip colour at all.

Just the right shade of green lipstick
4I find that blue/green lipsticks have to be several shades darker than red/pink ones in order to give the lips some definition and not give a "dead" or "lipless" look. This is just dark enough and also a little subdued and oddly warm-ish in hue. Still not the most flattering lipstick shade, especially not when it starts to fade and some of the red of the lip shows through, but it definitely works. Just be careful to cover any redness in the skin, especially around the mouth. The formula seems a little different from Salacious - Apocalips is also dry, but it doesn't have the same staying power.
