Firstly; I'm not impressed wit...
4Firstly; I'm not impressed with how easily the lipstick can come off, it doesn't have much staying power and is easily wiped off. Secondly, to get the deep navy/cosmic blue colour you have to layer the lipstick on quite a fair amount and keep re-applying quite often for both the reasons stated before. Also I would say it is slightly over-priced, I would pay £16 for this -not £20- if I could choose! Sorry! HOWEVER. To end on a positive note, the colour is perfect and while the lipstick doesn't moisturise (as it is a matte lipstick), it doesn't dry my lips out as badly as other equally priced brands. It's dry and doesn't moisturise but it also doesn't make the condition of my lips any worse (I hope that makes sense to other users of matte lipsticks). This is what I've been looking for in a matte lipstick because I'm sick of brands that painfully dry my lips out and/or make my the skin on my lips peel. So I would recommend to anyone trying to find something like that to try this too (though obviously everyone's skin is different)!

5Fabulous, highly pigmented, creamy at first then gloriously matte lipstick. New favourite - The colour is incredible! Easier to apply than some other Illamasqua lipsticks.

5The lipstick is exactly as described in a recent-ish Sunday Times article: long-lasting and a lovely colour and consistency. Unfortunately the colour (Vega) suggested in the article had temporarily sold out, but there were many other tempting shades. I chose Shard, quite a dramatic shade for me, but which faded slowly over the course of the day without any extra application and was still evident hours later. This was just what I wanted, but another application would probably be needed if you wanted to maintain full-on colour. This lipstick is the first matte lippie I've used for ages and took a day or two to get used to, but it's by far the most long-lasting that I've tried.
