Omg love the Skin Base Foundations, everyone has commented that my skin looks as though I not wearing any foundation at all.... My skin has never looked this good. I've recommended it to all my family and friends who now too love this product with the satin primer....

i love this foundation i have been wearing it for over a year i have very dry sensitive skin,skin base is the only foundation that gives me the results i want and trust me i have tryed many foundations i wear 8 sometimes 8.5 for going out if you want a foundation you can build up to the coverage you want this is the only for you <3

I have, up until now, been unable to find a foundation to match my extremely fair, pink undertone skin. Previously the brands I have used, have created either a yellow or vampire-esque finish to my skin.
This foundation is beautiful. Perfect colour, finish and amazing longevity. It is also easy to apply with both a brush and sponge, coverage is buildable but remains light weight on the skin.
I highly recommend this foundation for a flawless and pore minimising effect, that lasts all day - and all night.
Thank you to Alex Box for your advise on which shade I should be wearing also. Excellent product and creator, truly inspiring.

This foundation is amazing, hardly have to use any and is so easy to apply. It also stays on my skin well which is good considering my oily complexion. I can't get enough of Illamasqua!

When I 1st opened my package I was like Eww , how Dare they charge me $40 for a sample size !! I actually was so turned off I didn't touch it for about a month ... How foolish of ME !!!! This product is Amazing . I love the way it blends , color match was RIGHT on . Didn't feel heavy , it is just heavenly . The only reason I give it a 4 is becuz the packaging just throws me off . I feel like I have to use as little so I don't run out ... &! I have to squeeze it vs. pump

I was expecting the shade to be slightly too light for me, but it was spot on. Applied with a stippling brush it sits on my skin nicely, evens it out well and gives it that lovely dewy glow. However, my foundation previous to this was Estée Lauder Double Wear, so i do have to admit i'm disappointed with the staying power of this foundation. Wearing Double Wear, i could go to work for the day, come home, go out on the town all night and only ever have to powder here and there, it really stayed well, but the colour was not pale enough. I found With Skin Base that it goes on perfectly, i'll come home after 6 hours of work and it'll still be on my face well (except my nose, nothing but double wear stays on there), but my face will be very shiny. But after powdering the foundation just seems to break down and smudge - and look pretty horrific! I haven't tried wearing it out yet but i'm not sure i want to risk yet. I am going to invest in the matte primer and see if that help me any. If that doesn't help then this will strictly be a day foundation, or a foundation that i wear for short period of time as it doesn't have the staying power i need for a full night or a long period of time. Bit of a shame considering the colour is perfect and it feels so light and comfortable on the face. I'm next going to try Rich Liquid foundation as they may be more appropriate for longer wearing times.

Spent forever trying to find the perfect match to my light /medium yellow undertoned Asian skin!! I was using MAC NC35 but it was a bit too light, NC37 was a bit too dark. Finally, I've found my match -- illamasqua skin based 7.5!! (i was matched in store and the comparison chart was off...) It looks so natural when applied and lasts all day! You MUST moisturize before application! medium to full coverage, it's definitely buildable and blends perfectly. It does NOT oxidize which I loveeeeeee! Whatever color you put on, is the color it remains! This will be my forever foundation as long as the formula stays the same! Ordered the light & rich formulas to try! Hope they turn out just a wonderful!

Let me start by saying I really want to give this another go. I was colour matched at a counter, and wore this foundation a few times. I found it really difficult to blend onto my skin - I tried with and without a primer, and with different brushes, fingers etc- but it just wasn't as easy or seamless as I had been led to believe. Then the big thing was every time I wore this, someone told me I looked sick, or hungover, or unwell. People never make these comments and they stopped when I stopped wearing this foundation. I believe I was colour matched incorrectly and the shade I had was too light, but I'm hesitant to buy another tube because of the application issues and having an Illamasqua artist get my colour wrong previously.

Skin Base has fast replaced all of the go to and favourite foundations in my kit! Without a doubt Skin Base is the best foundation on the market!

I love low to medium coverage and previously used a mac foundation however this is my new staple everyday foundation. I do not need to highlight or contour with this foundation it is glorious and by far the best foundation I've owned. Will be a long time coming before I ever consider changing this foundation.

This foundation is amazing it looks like skin - but better! Very natural yet buildable without looking like you caked up. The trick is to have good moisturized skin as a base. I set it with illamasqua's loose powder & it lasts all day <3 only gripe was that I followed the chart & bought a shade lighter but that's ok. I could work with that ; )

The color of this foundation is the only one ever to have come close to my skin tone. However, having primarily been used to Estee Lauder's Double Wear the fact this only lasts a few hours on my skin is ridiculous. I could understand if I had oily skin, but I don't in any way and it just doesn't last. Which is SUCH a shame because I love everything else about it. Estee Lauder don't do one in the right shade for me really so I'm going to have to stick with this (for the color is incredible), but no primer or anything seems to make it stick :(

Fabulous product, it blends and layers up really well. I found that I needed to use a primer under it, but it gives a great final finish and stays fresh looking all day. Brilliant.

Absolutely love this skin base foundation, works perfectly with my skin giving me a flawless matte finish!! will definitely be buying from here again!!
