For a flawless finish Illamasqua recommends to apply Skin Base with the Foundation Brush or Highlighter Brush for buffing and is versatile enough to apply with your fingers. I find Shade 2 good for my skin its perfectly light but its too pink. I have to mix it with the porcelain colour foundation from the natural colection to get it my colour also the set of foundation and primer you have is not to good either Please make a natural pale foundation. I'm very pale so its hard to find a good foundation. Btw i posted this by accident earlier on shade 4.

Best foundation ever by Em

I have looked everywhere for a foundation which compliments my skin tone. I used to use MAC but their lightest foundation still wasn't light enough. I then found Illamasqua and fell in love. The woman at the counter in Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield was really helpful and helped me with choosing the perfect shade. I'd recommend Illamasqua to anyone. Expensive but totally worth it.

This foundation is the perfect colour! I always find it so hard to get something that's pale enough for me. It feels lightweight , smooth and you can also build it up. Great value!

I love this foundation looks really nice on my combination skin and get so many compliments on how lovely my skin looks definitely the best foundation I have ever used, however I do agree there should be a neutral shade, I wear shade 2 as it is the best match as 3 is far too yellow but I think something with a neutral undertone would be a perfect match for me. Would love to see a 2.5 :)

This is the perfect shade for me! I love my paleness but it hard finding a foundation that will match. The only thing is I don't think that it is worth £27 considering the size of the bottle.

After months of foundation hunting, I finally found this: the perfect pale shade that doesn't look chalky, dirty or washed out. The pink-neutral base gives it a gorgeous fresh look. I have combination-oily skin and find this pretty good for my whole face. However, it is very pigmented, so the colour does tend to settle into dry/flaky areas, so make sure you moisturise/prime properly first. I use the Matt Primer on my t-zone and a generic moisturising primer on my cheeks and it balances out pretty well. Lasting power is also good-- all day wear is easily achieved with a light dusting of powder over oilier areas. I grabbed mine just after the price drop here in Australia, and it's definitely worth the price (for reference, it now sells for $41 AUD, comparably to L'Oreal or more expensive Revlon foundations).

This foundation misses pale neutral shade. Shade 02 is pale enough but it is pink based so I can't use it. :/
