This morning on Glamour.com I came across this gorgeous yet unusually dramatic look for Tyra Banks. I love this edgy make-up style Tyra is rocking, embracing everything that Illamasqua is about.
To get the look, firstly prepare the face by using either Illamasqua Matt Primer or Illamasqua Satin Primer, depending on your skin type, using Illamasqua Foundation Brush. Once set after a minute or two, apply Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation in your chosen shade using a Illamasqua Highligher Brush to buff into your skin in circular motions. If you want to conceal your eyebrows to really add to the effect like Tyra, use Illamasqua Medium Pencil in Bait to cover eyebrows (its pink, I know but trust me, it works!) and then continue to buff over with Skin Base. To create definition to the cheek bones, contour using Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow using the NEW Illamasqua Contour Brush under the cheek bones, across the jaw line, over the bridge of the nose, temples and forehead. Set the foundation by using Illamasqua Loose Powder 010 with Illamasqua Powder Brush.
For Tyra’s dramatic, vampy eyes, first start by sweeping Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Android across the eyelid using Illamasqua Eye Shadow Brush. To define the eye socket, apply Illamasqua Powder Eye Shadow in Obsidian using Eye Shadow Brush inside the crease of your eye socket. Blend using Illamasqua Blending Brush 1 up to your eyebrow line and out to create a smoky effect.
Add a little sparkle by applying Illamasqua Liquid Metal in Electrum along the upper and lower eyeline using NEW Illamasqua Angled Brush and then repeat over the top using Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Incite to intensify. Use Illamasqua Medium Pencil in Sophie to create extra defination, then coat lashes using Illamasqua Masquara in Raven.
