“Strobing” is a skin technique that has taken the industry by storm. As seen on the catwalk for Issey Miyake by our Creative Director, Alex Box.

This technique is the new highlight – Its about making the skin look enhanced and uplifted by adding radiance and glow to the part of the face the sun would naturally hit. Letting the natural hollows of the face deepen with the effect of the highlight, you eliminate the contouring stage. This technique is a must trust as it is super easy to do with products like [mwi-product sku=”03224″ type=”add” ] will achieve enviable beautiful skin in no time.

Sheer skin is about looking like you aren’t wearing foundation. This trend goes well with strobing and as the last year was all about contouring with concealers and then layering foundation on top. Zoe Kravitz is a perfect example of someone that loves her skin to “breathe” – she wears heavy eye makeup and complements it well with the softness of her foundation and lets those gorgeous freckles shine on her beautiful skin! Illamasqua’s [mwi-product sku=”1000010″ type=”add” ] is perfect for this! I absolutely love wearing my foundation like this Skin Base never lets me down. The trick is to buff a small amount of Skin Base all over the face with [mwi-product sku=”03047″ type=”add” ] and then add a little extra just in areas you need it. By doing this you will achieve the amount of coverage you’re after and your foundation will be undetectable – beautiful skin ready.

This is a perfect way brighten and awaken any tired under eye area. This super easy technique is always a favorite with any of my customers as it gives them an instant effect. Mix [mwi-product sku=”02292″ type=”add” ] with your natural concealer shade and add it to the deepest hollows of the under eye area eg: the inner corner and besides the nose. This can be worn with a full face of makeup or just a wash of [mwi-product sku=”03225″ type=”add” ] that is the best thing about it.
