Hello everyone!
South Bank is one of my personal favourites when it comes to a place to visit in London! If you don’t want to spend a lot then South Bank is the perfect place to spend the day strolling up and down the River Thames.
The street acts will keep you entertained or you could take a wander into an art gallery such as Bankside Gallery or the Tate Modern which are free to visit.
If you don’t mind spending some money (and queing!) then the London Eye offers an amazing view, although the weather might not be on your side! At night the view of the city lit up is a brilliant sight to see.
There is also an abundance of places to eat so you won’t go hungry! During the day skaters take to the undercroft to show off their skills whilst a mini beach is set up nearby during the summer months for children to play.
There is also a book fair which is worth a scour if you’re a literature fan.
If you prefer to see a story come alive on stage then Shakespeare’s Globe is a must-visit! Located further down the river and often surrounded by crowds, you can’t miss it!

Kicking off the style spots this week is this pretty pair who were visiting London. I caught them to chat about their faves and inspiration.
Both Paris (left) and Sammy (right) were sporting red lips, though Sammy had opted for a more pinky shade while Paris had gone for a dark lip that complemented her hair perfectly.
The girls’ hair and lippy made a great contrast to their black dresses which they’d both styled with a kimono. Talking on inspiration for their looks Paris said she looks at blogs or even just other people when out and about. Sammy likes to browse YouTube for inspiration; if you’re a YouTube fan too then why not check out our channel here. Both agreed they’d like a foundation with stays put throughout the day when talking makeup. If you too, are looking for the answer to this problem then you might want to try Skin Base foundation, it provides a buildable coverage that is long-lasting, especially when paired with Matte Veil or Hydra Veil primer.
Paris revealed she couldn’t live without her eyebrow products while Sammy couldn’t be without her lippy!
Recreate the girls’ looks with Eye Brow Cake and Precision Ink in Abyss. For a deeper red lip like Paris go for Lipstick in Howl; if it’s a pinky shade of red you’re after then Lipstick in Salacious is for you.

Next I met the fashionable Brooke walking along the river. I loved her whole ensemble, especially that coat! It came as no surprise when Brooke told me she is a fashion buyer – she definitely has an eye for clothes!
Brooke takes inspiration from the catwalks when creating her look and loves how diverse style can be. In terms of her makeup, her simple and rosy look really worked well with her outfit. To imitate her pink cheeks we’d suggest Powder Blusher in Naked Rose as it works on a range of skin tones to give a natural flush of colour.

Next I met the lovely Alice who was on her lunch break. Talking makeup Alice told me that what she likes most about makeup is how it has the power to transform you.
Alice likes to watch her favourite makeup guru on YouTube for tips and if she could only wear one shade of lipstick for the rest of her life it would be a pale pink. If you’ve been looking for the perfect pale pink shade then look no more! Nude Lipstick in Rosepout is a neutral pink shade but if you want something slightly brighter like what Alice was wearing then try Pinkie.

The final look I spotted was on Violet: her lipstick caught my attention straightaway. She was rocking a dark pink shade – a great accompaniment to her outfit as it added a pop of colour into the look. In recreating Violet’s makeup use a coral shade of blusher such as Cream Blusher in Rude, Precision Brow Gel in Strike and Lipstick in Atomic.
Discussing makeup, Violet said “I like how it looks and how it makes me feel!” She decided that she couldn’t live without mascara. If you too, couldn’t live without thick, long lashes then you need Masquara!
