Hey guys and girls,
Home to our HQ, Angel seemed like the perfect place for this week’s Street Style! We wanted to show you what our HQ’s home has to offer as well as discovering some makeup looks in the area.
So here is the Illamasqua Head Office…
It’s just a short walk from Angel station and from hustle and bustle of the high street.
Angel is small but bursting with character, from its markets to its cute park in the centre, its also the perfect place for meeting friends for dinner or for drinks as you’ll be spoilt for choice!
It’s also home to The Screen on the Green, which will give you a unique cinema experience if you fancy watching a film.
Shopping in Angel isn’t just all about the shopping centre, the markets are well worth a visit and if you walk straight up from the station you find a narrow lane that houses a selection of vintage shops and stalls.

On to the makeup looks! Christie caught my attention first with her striking makeup so I was keen to chat to her about it!
We talked Sci-fi films and favourite Instagrammers, all of which inspire Christie’s look and branch from her love of the 1950’s. Her must-have beauty product is her eye-brow kit; we’d recommend Eye Brow Cake in Stark if you wish to recreate Christie’s look.
Key to her look is a flicked liner, thick lashes and that perfect red pout. Get into the fifties spirit yourself and try the look using Precision Ink in Abyss, lashes of Masquara and for the lips opt for Lipstick in Box, applying with a Lipstick Brush for that sharp finish.
If you love Christie’s retro style as much as we do, you may be interested in the Pin-up beauty course at our School of Makeup; you can find more information here. Follow Christie on Instagram here

Next I met Priya who was sporting a dramatic black and gold eye – a great combo!
The one product Priya decided she couldn’t live without is foundation – good choice, we know that personally we couldn’t live without our trusty Skin Base!
As Priya clearly loves her eye makeup we asked what colour she would choose if she could only wear one for the rest of her life and she picked gold! Recreate Priya’s black and gold ensemble using Precision Gel Liner and Pure Pigment in Ore, mixing with Sealing Gel for a long lasting paste.

I then met friends Shuma and Vanessa who are students at college in the area. They both agreed that they loved makeup’s ability to enhance natural beauty and prefer a more natural look rather than a dramatic one when it comes to applying makeup.
Vanessa draws inspiration from bloggers on YouTube and couldn’t live without mascara. She decided that if she could invent a new makeup product it would be permanent foundation! In recreating her look, add a subtle dash of colour to your eyes like Vanessa using Powder Eye Shadow in Victim.
Shuma says she takes inspiration from her sister and couldn’t live without eye liner. If she could invent a new makeup product it would be permanent eye liner! Recreate Shuma’s winged liner using our Precision Gel Liner.
