You may have seen on today’s email that I created two brand new nail art looks around the theme of bold patterns and textures. The first look I created features an ombre effect on the base, with Swarm over the top to add texture to the nail. The second look is a monochrome bold pattern with a black glitter varnish on the base and fine white swirl detailing.
As always, I have put together a step-by-step guide as to how I created these looks and what products I used, so if you want to find out – keep reading!
Step 1: Paint all nails in two coats of Nail Varnish in Loella and leave to dry completely.
Step 2: Using Nail Varnish in Lament , brush onto a small sponge and create an ombre effect over each nail.
Step 3: Next take Nail Varnish in Swarm and layer this evenly over each nail.
Step 4: Finally paint all nails in a layer of Top Coat and leave to dry completely.
Step 1: Paint all nails in two coats of Nail Varnish in Creator and leave to dry.
Step 2: Using Precision Ink in Scribe, create swirls on the tip of the index & ring fingers. Also add swirls all over the three other nails.
Step 3: Again using Precision Ink in Scribe, add small dots where there are any gaps on the nail.
Step 4: Finally paint all nails in a layer of Top Coat and leave to dry completely.
I hope you have enjoyed these mini nail art tutorials! Let me know what you think of the two looks I created! I would also love to see if you recreate these looks, or any other nail art yourselves!
