NEW I’mPerfection Collection – What We Are Loving…

WOW… WOW… WOW… WOW – This was my first initial reaction when I first caught a glimpse of the new Illamasqua I’mPerfection Collection and I still can’t get over how absolutely gorgeous all of the products are. You would think that, in working for the brand, we would almost get used to new collections and the excitement would die down. In actual fact, every new collection feels like the first and I’mPerfection was no exception!

The last collection, Generation Q, I completely fell in love with. The products are beautiful, my personal favourites were  the Lipstick in Magnetism & the Empower Palette. But just when I thought our collections couldn’t get any better, we were introduced to I’mPerfection.

Here at head office, we were introduced to the new collection a few weeks ago but obviously we had to keep it ‘ssshh sshhh’ and underwraps but now we can finally wear it, talk about it and share it with all of you.. And isn’t it just sha-mazing?!

If I had to pick a personal favourite out of the collection (which believe me, I find this task incredibly difficult!), it would have to be one of the adorable speckled nails.

We’ve been having a little play around in the office & I especially love what our gorgeous PR Executive, Mel, has done with her nails in this photo. She has created this ‘exaggerated speckled tip’ (yes, that’s what we’ve named it), using Nail Varnish in Jo’Mina and Speckled Nail Varnish in Fragile, how cute does it look?!

Or how about this ombre look that PR Manager, Nicola, has created? Using Speckled Nail Varnish in Fragile and Speckled Nail Varnish in Speckle.

Recreating this look is easier than it sounds because the speckles help to disguise the merging point between the two shades (top-tip from Nicola herself!). If you’re still struggling with the ombre look, try using a foamy eye shadow applicator and ombre away!

Another  look we absolutely love, is the ‘speckled eye’ which you can see on our gorgeous model, Amy.

This look is so simple yet so creative. Use Precision Ink in Abyss and glide across your upper lash line, as thin or thick as you like, then using Precision Ink in Scribe just simply dot speckles all over the line. It can be subtle enough for a business lunch or wild enough for a Saturday night on the town, just build it up to the look you want.

Our gorgeous Key Artist, Charlotte Savoury popped into HQ last week and quickly created this look for Nicola. Have a go at it yourself; we’d love to see your looks.

Ok, so let’s talk about the Intense Lipgloss in Shoot. I’m not going to lie, when I first saw the bright, green lipgloss I was a bit taken back.. I mean, it is VERY bright and VERY daring yet our stunning Social Media Intern, Louise, pulls it off amazingly well…

I know it’s a little out there and perhaps not your usual colour preference, but go on, just give it a go… you never know!

If Louise’s gorgeous look isn’t enough to convince you, then perhaps try the new Lipstick in Immodest? A gentle yet vibrant pink that goes with practically any look, however I’m more excited for summer to come because I think it’s going to be a lipstick to die for with a tan! It’s our HR Manager, Josephine, birthday today and she’s decided to rock the Immodest with her birthday dress.

What are you favourite products from the collection? We’d love to see what looks you are all creating…
