Mani Monday
Valentines Special
With Valentines fast approaching the preparation has begun. We’ve picked out some of our favourite nail designs to inspire you ready for the weekend!
—
Emma created these gorgeous sparkly pink Valentines nails using our UV nail varnishes in Seance and Ouija. Use a white nail varnish on your middle and ring finger to recreate this look and we suggest using striping tape for the zig zag detail and a stencil for such a perfect heart. Finish with a layer of Top Coat for a glossy, long-lasting finish!

The wonderful Mandy created this ‘Lips and Kisses’ design using Illamasqua nail varnishes. As a base Mandy used Monogamous with varnishes in Alarm, Throb, Velocity, Lament and Prosperity for the multi-coloured lips which she created with a dotting tool. For the kisses Mandy used Precision Ink in Abyss, which with it’s small nib this is perfect for such detail.

For the next Valentines look Jillian also used Monogamous for a peachy nude base. Recreate these fun leopard print spots with nail varnish in Collide and Precision Ink in Abyss for the black detailing.
—
Debbie created this beautiful rose design using nail varnishes in Throb and Load. For the detailing she used a stamp although if you’re feeling brave you could try using nail varnish in Boosh with our Fine Liner Brush! This is such a beautiful look for Valentines and hopefully they won’t be the only roses you see on Saturday!

Fancy something a little less cliche? We love this swirly design Melissa created using the water marbling technique! To create a similar look you will need a small bowl of water which you drop your choice of colours into to film a layer that will float. Simply create a pattern with a cocktail stick and and dip in your nail pushing down into the water. The polishes do tend to dry quickly in the water so it’s important to be speedy. For this look Melissa used nail varnish in Jo’mina.

We were joined by the lovely Mandy from ‘Ma Nails’ recently who created to exclusive nail art designs! Like the two looks below? You can watch the full video tutorials here.
