Manicure Monday: 4th January

Mani Monday

Happy New Year everyone!

Today is the day most of us are back to reality (work) after a lovely long Christmas break. To make it a little easier for you, we are back with our Mani Monday post to give you some nail inspiration to brighten up these January blues!

First up Margaret created this Winter Wonderland design using our Nail Varnish in Raindrops, start by using this as a snowy base. She then used acrylic paint for the trees but our varnish in DWS is a good match for the first layer of light grey trees. For the falling snow use our Precision Ink in Scribe along and end of the nail and dotted over the trees. Wouldn’t it be lovely to have some snow fall across the UK to brighten up January?!

If you’re after a quick glam winter look, our Nail Varnish in Facet is a beautiful metallic grey. Just because the festive period is over doesn’t mean the shimmery trend is over too, Anna is still rocking it and we’re determined to keep it in our wardrobes and in our make up bag as long as possible!

If you’re fed up of the cold weather and already looking forward to summer why not choose a bright nail varnish like our Australian Colour Creative, Minx! In this dark, gloomy weather your nails are sure to stand out in our nail varnish in Collide. For the gold ombre effect on Minx’s statement nail, use our Nail Varnish in Swinger gradually adding more as you reach the end of the nail.

If you want to add colour but you’re not feeling quite as daring as Minx, try a pretty pastel colour to inject some colour into your life! Jen has used our Nail Varnish in Speckle. You can grab yourself a bottle in the sale at the moment by clicking on the picture below!

Wendy also opted for a pop of colour using our bright mauve pink nail varnish in Harem. This colour looks great all year round and we love the glittery statement nail to jazz up this look! Why not use one of our Pure Pigments which come in a range of colours sprinkled over the top of our Base Coat Nail Varnish to create a similar look?
