Manicure Monday: 3rd November 2014

 Mani Monday!

Hey everyone! We hope you had an amazing Halloween weekend, we loved seeing the scary make-overs you created and especially all of the spooky manicures! The festivities may be over but that doesn’t mean the fun has to be! We’ve collected a few of our favourite cute and pretty manicures from the last couple of weeks so you can get playing with those polishes.

Jen shared this adorable mani with us on Instagram that she created using Radium, Jo’Mina and for DWS for colourful bases as well matte black Scorn for her little finger. Use a dotting tool to create the eyes or use Precision Ink in Scribe for the while and dot with Precision Ink in Abyss for the black.

Hayley of Love Thy Nail shared her MOO-tiful creation with us on Facebook and we just love it! Our Nail Varnish inBoosh is perfect for creating any animal print of your choice; if you choose cow print like Hayley then use Nail Varnish in Collide and then a Top Coat for a glossy finish.

This gorgeous antiqued effect manicure was created by Mandy of Ma-Nails. For optimum shimmer she selected Melange and Hemlock, using a dry brush technique with Melange. For the fine glitter detailing, Mandy used Nail Varnish in Spartan.

Melange was also the colour of choice for Holly of Well Nailed and we think it really complements purple shades. We’d recommend Nail Varnish in Jo’Mina if you decide to recreate. Also use Precision Ink in Abyss for the black lines before sealing with a Top Coat.

We hope you enjoyed this week’s post and are now in the mood to get playing around with some colour! If you do get creating then please share your work with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using #Illamasqua.

Have a great week,
