Our TOP nail picks this week…
Did you celebrate Chinese New Year? What an amazing opportunity to treat yourself to a meal out and join in the festivities! Margaret created these amazing nails in celebration of the year of the Ram by using Nail Varnish in Alarm as a bright red base, followed by using a stamp with a black nail varnish (try Boosh for this). For the gold detail Margaret used our Limited Edition Pure Pigment in Fortune which launched in celebration of the Chinese New Year!
These three colours look beautiful together, don’t they?! Again Ally painted her nails in celebration of Chinese New Year. To recreate this look use our Nail Varnish in Throb as a base except an accent nail where Ally used nail varnish in Spartan. For the black detail she used our Precision Ink in Abyss for this perfect detailing. Finish off by painting similar beautiful blossom using nail varnish in Load.
We love these colourful geometric nails by Claire! Start by using a white nail varnish as a base and then when completely dry use striping tape (or thinly cut selotape) to create a pattern on your nail of areas that will remain white. Carefully paint each area with nail varnishes in Swinger, Prosperity and a bright pink like Obsess as Claire has done here before peeling off the tape to reveal this complicated looking design!
The amazing Nursel (a MUA at our Harvey Nichols counter in Dubai) created this french-mani with a difference using nail varnishes in Collide and Spartan. Start by applying our Base Coat followed by Collide on the tips of the nail. Over the top of the join between pink and your natural nail paint a thin line of a glittery nail varnish like Spartan for some added detail. If you feel brave enough to hand paint the flowers then go for it, otherwise nail stickers are available for a quick and easy way to cheat! Finish off with a layer of Top Coat for a beautiful shine all over!
If you’re after a quick fix try just using two nail varnishes for a simple yet effective look. Here @tuolla_ja_taalla used nail varnishes in Melange and Facet which have a similar finish to create this gorgeous simple yet shimmery manicure!
