Manicure Monday: 19th May 2014

In true Monday spirit, it’s time for Manicure Monday! We love how you are all preparing for summer over here in the UK . Bringing out all your bright and vibrant nail varnish shades with your nail art looks and manicures!

The first look comes from Hayley @lovethynail on Intstagram who created this stand out look using Nail Varnish in Collide and Noble. We love the contrast of the two colours and a dotting tool and striping brush or nail tape may come in handy if you’re looking to recreate this look yourself.

The second look we love comes from Laura @never_enough_glitteer on Instagram. Laura created this negative space nail art using our Nail Varnish in Jo’Mina to create the bright lilac shade on the tip of the nails. You could also use our Nail Varnish in Faux Pas to create the darker purple shade. These are super easy to create so head over to Laura’s Instagram for a step-by-step pictorial on how to create this look!

Another look which caught our eye was this bright summery look from Bethany @beeneth on Instagram. Bethany used Nail Varnish in Nomad and Harem to create a base on her nails and an ombre accent nail. You could also use Precision Ink in Scribe to create the white stripes on the index finger similar to Bethany’s!

The fourth look which is sure to give you nail envy comes from Kierra @battylacquer on Instagram. Kierra used Nail Varnish in Vice to create the deep cerise shade on her index and little finger nails.  To create a gorgeous shine on the nails, like Kierra has, be sure to use Top Coat!

The final look, sure to attract attention to your nails, comes from Sarah @sruiq on Instagram. Sarah used Nail Varnish in Raindrops to create the light grey base on her nails with a slight shimmer finish. Apply the stars onto your nails using a fine dotting tool / toothpick. You could also use Precision Ink in Abyss to create the fine black outline on the stars.
