Manicure Monday: 19th January

Mani Monday

Welcome back!

Wondering what to do on these cold winter evenings? Why not spend some time recreating some of the fantastic nail art pictures we’ve found this week.

You will have seen Mandy featured a lot on our weekly Mani Monday posts and last week we had the pleasure of finally meeting her. Watch this space for an exclusive! She recently created these black matte chalkboard nails which looks great against pastel colours. Use our matte black nail varnish in Scorn as a base before using a range of pastel shade colours, some of our that you could try are: Harem (mauve pink), Nomad (jade) and Noble (turquoise). Once you’ve created a pattern of choice finish with a layer of Matte Top Coat.

Avast, me hearties! Margaret’s pirate nails look amazing using Illamasqua nail varnishes. To create this look she used Monogamous as a base and a stencil for the detail with nail varnishes in Taint, Load and Throb. Finally she finished with our Matte Top Coat for shine free effect.

Nail stencils are being used increasingly within the world of nail art and we are loving some of the looks we’ve found using our nail varnish. Here Aisha used Faux Pas as a base with a darker purple on top, a perfect match for this would be Baptiste. For a flawless shiny finish, like Aisha use our Top Coat to make the look last longer!

This mani is simple yet so effective! @papchenkoolya used Nail Varnish in Swarm to create this look. As your natural nail is on show, start with a base coat for optimum shine before painting on Swarm. Use our pure black nail varnish in Boosh for the tips and half-moons and finish with a top coat!

As always, please send us in your nail art on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook! We love to see your designs and feel inspired and who knows, maybe YOU will feature next week!!!
