This week we’ve noticed Raindrops has been a popular choice for your manicures, perhaps to match the weather here in the UK? We’ve collected our favourites along with some colourful designs to brighten up the grey weather!
Harem and Obsess were selected by Margaret this week for a very girly look. To recreate this manicure, paint your nails using Harem. Once they are dry you can sponge on Obsess diagonally to achieve the ombré effect. Then use a dotting tool with Obsess to create spots on the bottoms of the nails and vice versa with Harem on the tips.
We’re loving this design by Nail Loopy who used Load Nail Varnish as part of her creation. We’d recommend using Nail Varnish in Monogamous for a nude base and then with a thin nail-art brush, delicately draw on the feathers. You could use Cameo for the blue, Nurture for the green, Loella for the pink and Faux Pas for the purple. For the matte effect use our Matte Top Coat.
Mandy used shimmering, light grey Nail Varnish shade, Raindrops for the base of her design. She then used a striping brush with Boosh (black) and DWS (grey) for the stripes to achieve a waterfall-looking effect.
Mel on Instagram also used Raindrops for the base of her manicure. Judging by the rest of her design this was a very aptly chosen polish! For the rest of the design you could use Nail Varnish in Boosh as a base for nail decals. Don’t forget to finish off with a Top Coat!
Are you still loving our Paranormal collection as much as Sin is? She used our UV nail varnishes for an out of this world manicure. The main colour used here is Séance but both Ouija and Omen were used on the feature nail. You can view and shop all of the UV shades here.
That’s all for this week’s Manicure Monday. We hope you enjoyed the selection and feel inspired to get recreating! As always, share your nails with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as we love seeing them.
