Key Artist Mikele Simone – Get the Look

Key Artist, Mikele Simone from Illamasqua Australian Art Team, has created these beautiful editorial images. Follow the steps to achieve a classically glamorous look.

Glowing Skin:

Prep the skin by applying Illamasqua Primer using the Foundation Brush all over in small strokes.

Using the Highlighter Brush, buff a small amount of Skin Base Foundation in the appropriate shade all over the skin, then once the skin is even, buff a small amount of Gleam Cream in Aurora to the high points of the face (cheeks, bridge of the nose, a small amount on the chin and forehead).

Set the T-Zone with a small amount of Pressed Powder in 010, using the Powder Brush.

Structured Cheeks:

Using the Blending Brush #1, highlight the cheekbone using a a small amount of Illuminator in Odyssey. The Illuminator dries fast and is water-resistant so be sure to apply it quickly in a soft buffing motion.

Over the highlighter, apply a small amount of Cream Blush in Zygomatic using the Blusher Brush.

To contour the cheeks, gentle sweep Cream Pigment in Hollow using the Contour Brush, creating depth closer to the ear and gently fading the pigment towards the centre of the cheek.

Sultry Eyes:

Cushion the lid by applying a small amount of Cream Pigment in Hollow all over the lid and under the lower lash line and blend outwards using Blending Brush #1.

Build up the colour on the lid and blend towards the inner brow to create definition.

Using an Eyeshadow Brush, press Pure Pigment in Furore over the Cream Pigment and build the pigment in the inner corner to highlight.

Using Medium Pencil in Honour, line the inner rim of the eye, top and bottom.

Finish the eyes by applying 2 coats of Masquara in Raven,

Perfect Pout:

Line and fill the whole lip using  Medium Pencil in Spell.

Colour the lip in using the Lip Brush with cover and Lipstick in Maneater.

We’d love to see your creations to include in our “You Are Beauty” gallery…
