Illamasqua – What’s in the press?
With the launch of Gel Colour and Gel Sculpt last week, the buzz surrounding these exciting game changers reached an all-time high.
We were so excited to see these new products hit the pages of esteemed monthly magazines. ELLE featured Gel Sculpt and Gel Colour in Charm on it’s Beauty Brief page, as part of their ‘Bronzed Beauty’ feature. Meanwhile, Cosmopolitan recommended Gel Colour in Charm as an ideal shade for South-East Asian skin-tones.
Creative Director, Alex Box, made a visit to Sunday Times Style recently to show Health and Beauty Director, Edwina Ings-Chambers, exactly how the new products worked. Writing about the experience, Edwina believes Gel Sculpt is “super-easy to use” and finds it gives a “subtle, more natural finish”.
Finishing off the Gel Colour and Gel Sculpt coverage is an amazing piece in Daily Mirror Northern Ireland that featured our Belfast Business Manager, Fiona. In her article she revealed that “these unique wonder sticks are all you need to be beautifully on trend.” She then gave a step-by-step tutorial on how to use them.

Next it was all about that base across the press in the last month.
The Metro recommended Skin Base Lift for “instant coverage” and to “illuminate the under-eye area”. Bella Magazine also featured the product as part of it’s ‘Skin Tight’ feature with our International Brand Ambassador, Charlotte, quoted saying it not only colour-corrects but also brightens the skin.

Senior Beauty Editor at Marie Claire, Anita Bhagwandas, listed Illamasqua amongst her pick of “ace brands making killer foundations for darker skins”. Skin Base Foundation was also included in Asian Bride’s Best Buys and said to be a make-up bag essential according to Pride Magazine.
