February 1st 2010 saw our first foray outside the US and UK with a highly anticipated launch in Dubai!
The brand new Bloomingdales was the chosen destination, and I have heard it is fast reaching iconic status. Trudi [Head of Training and Professional Strategy] and Daniel [International Trainer and International Make-up Artist] have waxed lyrical about the gorgeous glossiness of this new shopping mall. The store will feature outstanding contemporary luxury brands with innovative theatre, visuals and a fabulous personal shopping concept – the perfect retail partner for Illamasqua!
I spoke to Trudi about the launch. “There has been massive hype and the expectation is incredible – people have actually booked the day off work to explore the store!” She tells me, “The specialists that Daniel came over to educate about Illamasqua were extremely enthusiastic about the brand and the colours, pigments and the story behind Illamasqua really captured their imagination. The colour palette is perfect for Dubai because of the boldness and intensity of our products.”
