Get the “speckled” look Key Artist Charlotte Savoury

The beauty world has gone speckle – crazy since launching the beautiful I’mperfection collection. Key Artist, Charlotte Savoury created an exaggerated speckled eye liner using our black and white Precision Inks, topping it off with a striking green lip. Here’s how she did it…

Eyes –

Highlight directly under the brow bone with a Concealer a couple of shades lighter then your skin tone and blend downwards with an Eyeshadow Brush.

Use Eyebrow Cake in your chosen shade and push upwards and outwards into the brow to define, using an Angled Brush.

Begin with a sheer wash of Cream Pigment in Hollow over the lid which will even skin tone and will help your eye shadow to last. Apply Powder Blusher in Bronzerella, over the eyelid and blend outwards and upwards above the crease.

Taking inspiration from the speckled eye liner from the I’mperfection campaign, we have added more drama around the eyes by filling in the entire lid with Precision Ink in Abyss.

For a heavy liner on the lower lash, use Medium Pencil in Sophie to sketch out the lower line and apply a coat of Precision ink in Abyss (black). Now speckle the liner with Precision ink in Scribe (white) over the black.

Masquara in Raven is a must for your lashes as it is big and bold, so two coats will be more than enough. For added drama apply a pair of your favourite false eyelashes.

Skin –

A matt finish is desired in this look, so apply Matt Primer before your foundation to take away any excess shine. Apply your preferred Skin Base Foundation shade using a Highlighter Brush, in small circular buffing motions for a polished finish. You can highlight key areas with a Skin Base that is a few shades lighter than your Skin Base shade and a few shades darker to contour. Apply Loose Powder 010 on top to set.

Cheeks –

Contour the cheeks with Powder Blusher in Panic and sweep Powder Blusher in Bronzerella over the cheek bones up into the temples.

Lips –

Apply Medium Pencils in Paint and Debonair blended together over the lip and top with a generous coat of Intense Gloss in Shoot.

We’d love to see your recreations of this striking “speckled” eye liner. Or perhaps you’ve been experimenting with our NEW Speckled Nail Varnishes? Send your  photos to our Facebook page – www.facebook.com/illamasqua and we’ll post them in our “You Are Beauty Gallery”.
