Get the look with Key Artist Mikele

Key Artist Mikele Simone from our Australian Art Team shows you how to get this beautiful, sultry look he created recently…

To get the look, begin by prepping the skin using the appropriate Primer; Matt Primer for a shine-free finish or Satin Primer for a more hydrated, dewy effect. Apply all over the skin using a Foundation Brush.

Using the Illamasqua Highlighter Brush buff Skin Base Foundation into the face and then highlight the high points (cheekbones, fore head, chin and forehead) using brand new Gleam in Aurora.

Add colour and definition to the cheeks by applying Cream Blusher in Zygomatic using our new Contour Brush. Zygomatic gives a natural dewy colour to the cheeks.

On the eyes, create smooth prepped lids using Cream Pigment in Hollow. Then highlight the inner corners, and under the brows using Powder Eyeshadow in Sex and Blending Brush #1. Using an Eyeshadow Brush, press some Powder Blusher in Allure in the centre of the eye from the lash line to the brow.

Then buff Powder Eyeshadow in Obsidian on the inner corner under the brow and on the outside corner of the eye, blending outwards to a point – this will create a dramatic definition. Smudge Medium Pencil in SOPHIE on the lower lash line and set with Pure Pigment in Zeitgeist for a gorgeous shimmer finish.

Line the lash line with Precision Ink in Abyss, to create the illusion of longer, fuller lashes and then just above it frame Abyss with Precision ink in Scribe. To finish off the eyes, apply 2 coats of Masquara in Raven.

On the lips, using Medium Pencil in Hex, line the lips to create soft and nude definition then apply a generous amount of Sheer Lipgloss in Opulent.

Check back each fortnight for the next Art Team “Get the Look”… We’d love you to share your creations.
