Get the Look – Key Artist Charlotte Savoury

Are you ready for the party season? We’re offering you this beautifully glamorous get the look from Key Artist, Charlotte Savoury. Follow Charlotte’s simple steps to create stunning plum eyes, perfect for Christmas parties.

To get the look, firstly prepare the face by using either Matt Primer or Satin Primer (depending on your skin type) using our Foundation Brush.

Once set after a minute or two, apply Skin Base Foundation in your chosen shade using a Highlighter Brush and buff into your skin in circular motions. This Highlighter Brush allows the foundation to be distributed evenly over the skin allowing a flawless, polished finish.

Contour the cheek bones using Contour Brush and a Skin Base shade which is a few darker from your skin tone; here I used Skin Base 15. Then highlight the tops of the cheekbones with a Skin Base that is a few shades lighter, here I used Skin Base 3. Apply Cream Pigment in Androgen to the apples of the cheeks for a fresh, youthful pop of colour. This cream texture blends easily into Skin Base Foundation, allowing all lines to be diffused and blended together beautifully. Set with Loose Powder 010, a translucent powder suitable for all skin tones. This light powder acts as an undetectable veil over the skin allowing maximum staying power throughout the night.

Accentuate the brows using Angled Brush and Eyebrow Cake in Thunder. Mix Thunder with Sealing Gel for a more defined brow arch and apply through the ends of the brows. Highlight under the brow with Concealer in shade 115 with a Lip Brush and blend out using an Eye Shadow Brush. This allows you to create a stronger contrast under the brow accentuating your brow shape.

Apply Cream Pigment in Depravity all over the lid which will act as a base to the powder eye shadows later applied. This high impact pigment adds instant colour and is a great way of building colour quickly.

Using the Compliment Palette, start with Powder Eye Shadow in Slink and press directly onto the Cream Pigment start from the inner corners of the lids. Blend outwards and upwards with Powder Eye Shadow in Forgiveness for a soft, diffused base. Then, apply Powder Eye Shadow Queen of the Night to the outer corners, blending in through the socket adding depth to the eye.

Apply Precision Ink in Havoc along the lash line and outwards, creating an exaggerated 50’s flick. Line the lower lash line with Medium Pencil in Sophie and blend outwards with Powder Eye Shadow in Forgiveness.

Coat the lashes with Masquara in Raven. Apply False Eye Lashes No 21 and top with a coat of Masquara in Raven.

Line the lips with Medium Pencil in Torment and top with Lipstick in Resist, finished with a dab of Pure Pigment in Static for some Christmas sparkle.

To finish, press Pure Pigment in Beguile onto the inner corners of the lid. Alternatively, apply to the tops of the cheeks to highlight and through the hair.

Christmas is the best time to experiment with new looks, colours and products. We’d love to see your party creations…
