Chinese new year has got Illamasqua all excited!
2013 is the year of the Snake, meaning people born within a Snake year are “intuitive, introspective, refined and collected. They are attractive people who take cries with ease and do not become flustered easily. They are graceful people, exciting and dark at the same time.”
We’ve been researching the year we were born, the traits we have, our compatibilities and what it all means. The Chinese zodiac follows a 12 year cycle with each year being named after an animal. The Chinese believe that people born in a particular year take on the characteristics of the animal associated with that year.
I discovered that being born in 1986 means I’m a Fire Tiger…
“Eccentric and dramatic, Fire Tigers are aglow with passion and verve. They are outgoing, expressive and look on the bright side of things. They have the Tiger’s natural ability to lead others and are able to excite others simply with their own gift of enthusiasm. They can be funny and have great senses of humour.”… okay, okay, I’ll stop now! But it is rather interesting to read what your year says about you.
Illamasqua are celebrating the year of the Snake by wearing looks inspired by the Chinese culture from now until Sunday 10th February. International Trainer, Daniel Busuttil created this face chart for our Make-Up Artists to wear on counter, using the products listed below.
You can book in at any of our stores or counters to get the same look – call 08449841700. There will be lots of other activities happening on Sunday 10th February too.
