Get The Look – Big British Bang Week

Selfridges Big British Bang week is commencing on the 24th May, and here at Illamasqua HQ Key Artist Charlotte practiced one of the many stunning looks that will be seen on Illamasqua counters in Selfridges during this period. Here is a step by step on how to create this fabulous look…

For the amazing blue sparkly eyes, use an Illamasqua Eye Shadow Brush and press Powder Eye Shadow in Burst over the eye lid up til the crease of the eye. Then brush Powder Eye Shadow in Anja into the socket of the eye and blend into the eyelid to merge the two shades together.

Line the waterline of the eye with Medium Pencil in Debonair and apply Powder Eye Shadow in Burst underneath the bottom lashes.

Mix together a drop of Sealing Gel with Powder Eye Shadow in Burst to create a waterproof paste. Use this paste with an Angled Eye Liner Brush to line the bottom lash line, extending in the inner corner of the eye and winging outwards on the outer corner. Add lashings of Masquara in Raven to create defined jet black eyelashes.

Define the eyebrow using an Angled Eye Brow Brush with Eye Brow Cake in Vehement. To highlight the eyebrow and add a light reflecting shimmer apply Illuminator in Odyssey under your brow.

Add self-adhesive diamantes on the upper area of the eye lids and underneath the bottom lash line as shown in the picture.

To create a flawless complexion buff Skin Base into the skin with an Illamasqua Highlighter Brush and use Skin Base in Au along the cheekbones to add a radiant sparkle. With a bold smoky eye, always do you skin last so that you can clean up any mistakes or fall out and not ruin your beautiful base!

To finish, line the lips with Medium pencil in Thrash and apply Sheer Lipgloss in Artifice over the entire lip.

Visit a Selfridges counter from the 24th May to see more of these beautiful looks.
