Tracy has been loving our new Shattered Star Nail Varnish in Fire Rose

1. How did you become interested in the world of nails?

I got interested in nails because I hated how my mum’s nails looked as she bites her nails. However, it has made me go to the other end of the scale where I tend to build my polish collection on a daily basis!

2. What’s your number one Illamasqua Nail Varnish and why?

My number one Illamasqua polish is Fragile, because I love blue nail polish but the colour is just beautiful and with the glitter just looks amazing on the nail.

3. Nail Varnish aside, what do you do to take care of your nails?

Aside from nail polish I make sure I take care of my cuticles. I massage cuticle creams and oils on a daily basis and use a good hand cream.

4. If you could create a new Illamasqua nail varnish, what would it be like and why?

If I could create a new Illamasqua nail colour it would be a rich vibrant blue colour.  I love blue nail polish.

5. What are your top 3 nail tips to create a perfect nail art/ manicure?

My 3 top tips to create the perfect manicure would be a good base and top coat, cuticle oil but most importantly a high quality nail polish.

6. What do you love most about Illamasqua nail varnish?

The thing I like most about Illamasqua nail polish is although they are on trend they are sofisticated colours that last more than one season and the application is amazing too.

A big thank you to Tracey for answering our questions! Make sure you visit Tracy’s Instagram if you’re a fan of nail varnish. We also love the nail art Tracy creates, and here is one using Ouija, Seance and Harsh:
