Alter Ego Gallery

Looking to indulge in your alter ego this week if so why not take a look at some of our favourite Illamasqua inspired enthusiasts for some creative ideas that were posted to our Facebook wall in the past week…

We love Serena Roxie Russell- Thura’s gothic look if you wish to recreate her dark, edgy nature use Intense Lipgloss in Repulse for that ultra, bold look! We think Serena pulls its off beautifully here! Use Medium Pencil in S.O.P.H.I.E on the water line to intensify the eye and to match those ebony lips!

Thomas Westwood’s darken angel look here is fabulous! To create a similar look start with Lipstick in Pristine and apply Intense Lipgloss in Stranger over the base coat. Use Powder Eye Shadow in Sex, from your eye lids to your brow line followed by Powder Eye Shadow in Obsidian to create your design around the eye. Use sale item Liquid Metal in Electrum on the base of your eye lid to add that extra shimmer, as well as on the base of your forehead under Sales item Cream Blusher in Betray. Finishing off with Eye Brow Cake in Vehement to fill out and reshape your brows!

To recreate Jack Tyson’s bold look start off with Lipstick in Apocalips. For similar eyes I suggest using Powder Eyeshadow in Daemon across the crease of the eyelid along with Precision Ink in Abyss around the top and bottom parts of your eye gently using the tip to create those precise lines. For stunning, arched eyebrows use Eye Brow Cake in Thunder to fill in and draw a new shape.

Rose Froze embodies an ice princess look here which we just love! For pure, ivory white looking skin apply Skin Base Foundation in 01 then use Cream Blusher in Lies to lift and add colour to your cheekbones. Lipstick in Underworld has been used by Rose to create her piercing lips! Lastly she has Powder Eye Shadow in Inception around her eyes, lightly dusting the colour to create fine lines.

Minx Zoukstress’ fallen angel look can be achieved by firstly using Lipstick in Pristine. Using Powder Eye Shadow in Sex on the eyebrows and around the eyes will complete this simple yet effective look!

Lori Anne Allison has shown us two looks this week, if your preferred version is this one start off with Lipstick in Box, leaving room like Lori has done on her top lip, fill in the rest of the shape with Medium Pencil in Elate. Using Powder Eye Shadow in Daemon from the crease of your eye around down to the bridge of your nose, if you are feeling extra creative!  Then use Powder Eye Shadow in Sex on your eye lids and apply a layered line of Precision Ink in Abyss across your upper eye lid. Then take Precision Ink in Scribe to draw dots under the eyes and across the cheeks. Using Medium Pencil in S.O.P.H.I.E to draw in a bottom layer of individual lashes, Twiggy style! Then lastly use Powder Blusher in Tweak across your  cheeks to finish off the look.

Lori’s second look, my personal favourite out of the two, can be achieved by firstly using Lipstick in Apocalips to draw a thin line around the rim of your lips. Then using Medium Pencil in S.O.P.H.I.E and Medium Pencil in Elate to draw in those accurate thin white and black lines. Then take Powder Eye Shadow in Burst on your cheekbones with Powder Blusher in Nymph on the tops of your cheeks. For the eyes again use Powder Eye Shadow in Burst along the creases with Cream Pigment in Hallow on the lids. Apply Precision Ink in Abyss and Scribe to draw in those edgy flicks.

I hope some of these creative looks give you some inspiration this week to allow your inner alter ego to shine through!
