SS12_gold headphones_close-up front_LR

Illamasqua’s  Director of New Product Development, David Horne, created this bespoke look for Illamasqua staff and models to wear at the SS12 Human Fundamentalism press launch in Dubai.

The design is a take on the Urban Princess look from the Human Fundamentalism collection, using similar techniques but with different Human Fundamentalism products. Tune in later this week to find out more information about the Dubai press event.

Here is a break down of how to create a stunning ‘Teal’ Urban Princess..

Eyes

To create the gorgeous gold and teal eyes, use an Illamasqua Eye Shadow Brush to sweep Powder Eye Shadow in Vintage (Neutral Palette) over the entire eye and  blend Powder Eye Shadow in Burst into the socket .

To make a water-resistant black eye- liner,  mix two drops of Sealing Gel with Powder Eye Shadow in Obsidian  (Neutral Palette) . Use an Illamasqua Angled Eye Liner Brush to line the upper and lower lash line, creating a flick on the outer corner of the eye. Next use Precision Ink in Scribe to  trace above the black line you have just created.

Finish the eyes by using an Illamasqua Eye Shadow Brush to sweep Powder Eye Shadow in Burst under the eye.

Eyebrows

You can copy the dramatic eyebrow by mixing two drops of Sealing Gel with Powder Eye Shadow in Obsidian (Neutral palette) to create a black paste, then use an Illamasqua Eye Brow Brush to define your natural eyebrow shape. To accentuate and highlight the brow use an Illamasqua’s Eye Brow Brush and sweep Liquid Metal in Surge (Fundamental Palette) above your eyebrow.

Lips

Finally to finish off  the ‘Teal’ Urban Princess look  use an Illamasqua Lip Brush to blend Lipstick in Apocalips into your lips.
