I love it! by Natalie

On a trip to london I walked into the beak street store to buy a sophie bracelet, the scent of freak hit me- I was given a sample after I was heard saying to my boyfriend how inticing it was. I am very picky with perfumes- I hate the girly floral and love musky, but not powdery. I usually end up with a jasmine based perfume. This personally ticks all the boxes for me. It works well with my skin too- some perfumes smell different on everyones skin. My boyfriend saw how much I loved it and bought me a bottle for christmas over a year ago :)

This scent is just amazing . Not too masculine or not too feminine but a wonderful mix of both, just like me :). I absolutely love it !! Perfect for me <3

I'm not a "scent" person, but I absolutely had to have this. Marketing did an impeccable job on this product. The perfume bottle has a snail on it and it smells like various poisonous plants? Sign me up! I typically lean toward woody-florals, this is a very heavy and sweet scent that I can't quite figure out. It's one of those things where I can't tell if I like it or not, but I keep wearing it. Freak is a very autumn/winter or nighttime scent for me, I don't see myself wearing this to work anytime soon.

This fragance is so hypnotic, it really smells like the night. I love the way it stays in my body and transforms my day making it misterious and exotic. The notes are ellegant and audacious, besides the bottle is pure art. I'm in love with my Freak, it really helps me to leave my scent werever I go.
One of my favourite perfumes by Jules B

I love the scent. It's a great perfume - good depth without being too heavy. Well balanced and I always get compliments when so wear it. The staying power isn't as good as some other perfumes in my collection, but it is great for the price.
Nothing special about it (at least for me - I still like it!) by franfan20

"Freak" by Illamasqua is definetely a scent contrasting from the rest of my collection judging from the notes and the scent type, but it's no speciality in general. The spot, the slogan and the wonderful bottle attract people in the first place. So one can say this a good marketing strategy that turns into a generic scent experience. The scent is very reserved and not spectacular. It smells like flowers, unusual flowers in fact, but not quite definable. It could be poppy, cereus and datura since it smells familiar closest to them, but I couldn't swear it's those notes. A little bit of incense shines through too giving it a smoky vibe. The scent stays close to the skin and has no big sillage at all. When I saw the spot and how the snail mounted the model I immediately thought of the 1988 horror movie "Slugs" about mutated slugs killing humanity with the great subtitle 'muerte viscosa' (the slimy death). I just expected it to be more mystic and exceptional, but this is not the case. It's no bad scent since I like it, but nothing one has really to have in one's collection except for the flacon which is beautiful in and out the box. The snail mounts the oblique flacon and when put in the box it's 'lighted' by the moon in the night. The extraordinarity from the packaging is missing in the scent. It doesn't transport far away from the smells of the night blooming flowers.
