<3

l have been using this for about 4 months now, and I still have about 3/4 left. I bought the shade 240. I am a bare minerals Warm Tan, with yellower undertones I find that the golden undertone deepens after application. This works in my favour. (i.e. it turns out that the shade 240 works for me, despite being a little 'light' upon application). This oxidation is not much (I wouldn't necessarily recommend buying a lighter shade) It is a lightweight foundation but a little goes a long way. I apply this with the real tech expert face brush. Great combination. I find that this gives coverage to my dark blemishes, without making me look like I have a layer of foundation hiding them; you can see my skin through the foundation. I also have some hyper-pigmentation, and find that this can be layered to cover that and serves this purpose well if used with a decent setting powder. Sometimes, as another reviewer pointed out, you do get a watery consistency when you squeeze out the product. I would advise giving it a bit of a shake before application. This solves the issue. I do not care much about how my foundation changes throughout the day; I quite like how it evolves but for those that do care (understandably), I would have to say that this foundation does what some may say "slide" a little. On an average day, by the time I get home (about 6hrs later), it’s as though my skin has absorbed the foundation and I naturally have very glowy and soft skin, with some of that coverage still there. I have oily/combination skin. I find that this doesn't mattify; it has a skin finish, is moisturising, and really brings out a lovely natural-looking glow. OTHER POINTS -Lovely Vanilla scent (I used to open it just for the smell) -I would repurchase if they do another sale (Which I hope they do!!) -Moisturising, but a little on the oily side -Works well under my concealer, bronzer, blush etc (nice dewy finish is almost always achieved) -Makes skin feel very soft - No SPF (Unfortunate!) - Buildable coverage

Good for light coverage

I love this foundation for when going for a no makeup look. It's glowy and I got an exact colour match, probably the best match I ever got so I bought 6 more. I'm a MAC NW47 and bought 325 for reference. Only thing you with this, you will need a primer as it has a tendency to slip and slide off your face, and shake the bottle vigorously before use.

Great for dehydrated skin

I got one of these in the £10 sale, in shade 215 - medium to olive with neutral undertones, ideal for my complexion in winter when I am more on the pale side. I am white british, but have a very olive complexion, and tan to a very deep shade in summer. During winter, I look like a simpson and most make up, even the oriental shades, look too pink on me. This shade is the best match I have found, and whilst its not totally perfect, it blends well and looks natural. I have always struggled to find make up I like. Ive tried skin base and found it very heavy for what I wanted during the day. My skin is oily, but also suffers dehydration due to acne treatments I use for adult acne. I am very very insecure about my skin, and wont go anywhere without make up on, but hate looking like I am wearing thick make up during the day - for nights out, I like to go all out! The coverage of liquid light is exactly what I wanted, my skin still looks like skin, but with my blemishes covered and tone evened. The hydrating quality makes my skin look dewy and plumped, and somehow this dewy effect helps the oiliness rather than making me look like ive got a wet face. It does need a good shake before use, and judging the reviews isn't for everyone, but I love it. Oh, and it also lasts through extremely strenuous gym work outs and doesn't run down my face like others do!!

Wrong colour

I know buying foundations off the internet without getting matched at the counter is not the best idea, but I thought that the descriptions & pictures on this site were accurate 240 is described as deep olive with golden undertones. Hmm.. "Olive" skin is not just a darker skin as many people like to label it, OLIVE means GREEN, deep GREEN, golden undertones should reinforce the concept of it being greeny/goldeny/yellowy/tan-ny shade, but IT IS NOT. 240 is PURE ORANGE. There is not even a HINT of green, yellow or gold in it, it is PURE orange, a foundation that usually black people wear, without an intention to sound offensive, black i.e. ebony skintone, african american etc. Describe your colours better, update the swatches and be realistic!

Terrible

I bought the skin matte primer after a lady in Debenhams told me that that it would be HD perfect for a film shoot. She said it was made by Kryolan (and that all illa masque products were). I thought ace! I bought the primer for £27 at the store and came to the site for a foundation. This was during the £5 sale so I really couldn't refuse. It arrived, I tried it and was so disappointed. The coverage was rotten, the colour was orange and despite trying every make up brush and sponge I had, I still looked like I had a skin disease.
