Last month saw Beth Norman (a solent university student) hold her final year exhibition at our flagship store in the heart of London.
Bloggers, students, fashion and make-up lovers turned up to see the collection and to toast to Beth’s hard work.
Here’s what happened…….
Beth’s team of Make-up artists (our very own Stephanie McClean and assistant Yasmin Francis), fashion stylists (Solent students, Kayleigh Louise Sanders and Tereeza Da Silva) and hair stylists (Solent students, Lily-Victoria Clarke and Beca Tuffnell) arrived to prep the models.
The hair stylists used Illamasqua Cream Pigments to colour the hair, setting off and complementing the title of the exhibition ‘paint my world colourful’.
The models were transformed…
Cream blusher in Devour was buffed in to create a gradient effect and Powder Eye Shadow in Obsidian was applied to the lids and through the brows.
The brows were created with Powder Eye Shadow in Imagine and set again an eye design created with Powder Eye Shadows in Hype, Vapour and Fledgling mixed with Sealing Gel. A sweep of Precision Ink in Scribe was applied to finish the look.
Powder Eye Shadow in Obsidian, Medium Pencil in Sophie, Powder Eye Shadow in Vintage from the Neutral Palette and Precision Ink in Scribe were used to create the intensity of the eyes. Skin Base Foundation in SB12 and SB13 and Powdered Metal in Thalia offered a flawless base for the look.
We love this aztec inspired design for the brows. Powder Eye Shadow’s in Hype, Obsidian, Stalk and Sex work beautifully for this look.
Guest were welcomed at the our Flagship store by the models and handed Champagne and cupcakes created by Lauren Jane.
The crowd flocked to see the exhibition including our very own Head of Professional Development Spob.
A huge congratulations to Beth for a striking exhibition!
